After receiving some Newspaper print samples, I thought I would go to the print bureau at University and see what options they have that are similar to that of the newspaper samples. Using the university print services is mostly likely going to be cheaper then using an outside supplier so I thought it was a good idea to see these options also so I'm not limiting my self by using outside companies.
So I knew I wanted to get paper from uni that is as close to newspaper, paper so that is what I have found and used from uni.
So those two prints above are using the paper at uni were are available that are closest to newspaper, paper style.
Aswell as these two paper types I have tried, I also wanted to see how a even thinner paper type would look with my images. So I printed an image onto tracing paper. With the possible idea of pasting a print onto a board of some sort to replicate the sign post on items at the market.
The tracing paper look actually pretty cool with the image choice, I chose this dark, contrasty image over the over too as on tracing paper it doesn't print white colour so that would be washed out and would just look grey.
