Today was a trip to Leeds to see and speak to the people of Spink & Thackray and Hobbs.
The trip to Spink & Thackray was great, it was a chance for me to see all the different book binding options, the cover material and colour options, many different examples of books and portfolio boxes they have made for other customers. Because I'm still slightly unsure on the whole design and finish of my book it was great to see so many good examples and it gave ,e plenty to think about and consider for my own work.
After Spink & Thackray we moved onto the Hobbs to see what they're options were with printing and mounting. I found this company a really good back-up and one to know about. They didn't have as many options as other printers I have been to but their services were fairly cheap and decent.
